Product availability
Chao.co.za cannot guarantee stock. We endeavour to keep reasonable stock levels where possible, but where stock is ex-supplier, product availability is dependent on the stock levels of the specific supplier. Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Chao does not keep stock of all items. Items not in our warehouse will only be ordered once payment has been received and cleared. Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence Chao.co.za will endeavour to contact you and provide a revised shipping schedule. Chao.co.za reserves the right to cancel your order should the product no longer be available from the Chao.co.za supplier or otherwise.
Delivery Policy
When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies paid in any way agreed by us are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any product or service through this website.
Shipping
The price for shipping as offered by the Chao.co.za online shopping system on checkout applies to deliveries within the Republic of South Africa (RSA) and does not include the cost of deliveries to outlying areas or farms as determined by our couriers. In such cases, Chao.co.za reserves the right to charge additional delivery fees to cover the difference and Chao.co.za will contact you prior to processing your order should this be the case. Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.
Undeliverable packages
Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.
Order processing
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment reflects in our bank account.
Warranty, Returns and Refunds Policy
Due to the nature of our products, Chao.co.za cannot accommodate returns or exchanges for unwanted purchases. Please make sure you select the correct item.
Payment Options and Pricing
Payment can be made by Electronic / Internet Banking Transfer (EFT) or Credit Card (MasterCard / VISA). Chao.co.za endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; your total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax, shipping charges (on the day of shipping). Should the shipping charges increase between the time you confirmed your order and the day the goods are to be shipped, you will be required to make payment for the difference, before the goods will be released.
EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)
One of the most widely used ways of sending money online. Once you have added enough items to your shopping cart, proceed to “Checkout” and confirm your order. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order where Chao.co.za’s bank account details for payment will be provided. Your order will only be shipped once the funds reflect in the bank account as detailed below.
As reference, specify the Order Number.
Credit Card (MasterCard / VISA)
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Chao.co.za via PayU, and EFT via Ozow.

Applicable laws (choice of venue and forum)—Use of this website shall in all respects be governed by the laws of South Africa regardless of the laws that might be applicable under principles of conflicts of law.
